A little about me….
It is this passion that has led me to create Cairns Celebrant Sue Betts. Being a celebrant just seems so natural to me and nothing gives me greater
pleasure than to see all the pure joy my ceremonies bring to everyone and
the memories created!
Marriage is very important to me. To have a couple come together, wanting
to express their love and commitment to each other, it’s my job to ensure
that I have listened, offered ideas and maybe some advice to help you
through the process from woah to go.
I understand that your marriage commitment ceremony should be as unique as you both are.
Every time I get to work with a couple, from first contact, meeting, talking, finding those perfect words, to that magic moment of the ceremony and pronouncing the couple husband/wife, husband/husband, wife and wife. I say to myself, the couple or anyone who wants to listen “How lucky am I, to get to do this”.
Everyone deserves a beautiful ceremony that reflects and celebrates who they are. I just love creating amazing ceremonies for all my clients, celebrating and embracing our diversity and multiculturalism in its many forms, celebrating our individuality that makes us all fabulously human.

Vow Writing
Your ceremony doesn’t have to be traditional. So really take the time to think about the little things, what is important to you both and those all so important vows. You can either write your own vows or I can assist you with this

Your vows need to come from the heart, so they sound like you, so with carefully choosing the right words we can make sure that you are truly speaking to your spouse in an authentic way that reflects you both individually and as a couple
Fully Qualified
I am fully qualified to officiate at Weddings, Vow Renewals, Elopements, Legals Only, Commitment Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies, Graduation Ceremonies, Funeral Ceremonies and Pet Farewells
Available to Travel
I am available to travel around the Far North Queensland region and will happily perform ceremonies across the Atherton Tablelands, Cairns Northern Beaches, Palm Cove and Port Douglas

I pride myself on my passionate and personalised ceremony crafting. I get right in there and ask all the right questions getting as much detail as possible. So I then can design a ceremony for you that is heartfelt, passionate and relaxed, maybe with a touch of humour!
Professional
I take care of all the details, from start to finish. All packages include face-to-face meetings, completion and lodgement of legal paperwork, a presentation certificate and a personalised ceremony that I design and deliver especially for you.
